As a further development Giulio Genova has wrapped a Shiny Application around this package. It is meant to interactively retrieve the Meteorological Data of complete South Tyrol. It comes both as an application as well as a docker container with all necessary environments. It is based on leaflet and implemets tons of nice features enhancing this packages functionality. Furthermore the Website has a trilingual implementation.
